Genuinely one of the best destinations in Europe for mixed groups. The beach days work for everyone. The boat trips work for everyone. The buggy day works for everyone. It's compact enough that if people want to split up for the evening they can, and easy enough to find each other again. I've helped hundreds of groups — the mixed setup almost always works better than people expect.

June and September are the sweet spots. Hot weather, sea is warm, everything is open, but not the full July/August crush. July and August are great too but book activities well in advance — buggies, boat parties and the Fantasy boat all sell out. May is quieter and cheaper, good if some of the group has school-age kids.

Very safe. EU island, low crime, friendly locals. The main things to watch: agree a meeting point at the start of any big night out, use licensed taxis or pre-book transfers, book boat trips through a vetted operator (don't just walk up to a random guy at the harbour). Almost always a villa with a private pool. For 6 people, a 3-bedroom villa with a pool works out about the same per night as 3 hotel rooms — but you get a shared space for morning coffee, pre-drinks before a night out, and somewhere to debrief after. That shared space is what makes a group holiday feel like a group holiday rather than 6 individuals who happen to be in the same resort. The pool means you can have a beach day without leaving the villa. Yes — and it's actually one of the best setups for a 3-couple trip. You're big enough for a private boat (Shirley Valentine is €400 whole boat, €66 each for 6 people), a Polaris buggy convoy (2 buggies, everyone together), and a WaterWorld day where you naturally split off and do your own thing. You're small enough that restaurants can seat you, transfers are one vehicle, and you're not trying to coordinate 15 people every morning. The sweet spot is 6–8 people and 3 couples fits perfectly.
