📍 Alex's Local Tips — What They Won't Tell You on the Website
- Book at least 2–3 days ahead in July and August — the Black Pearl and Fantasy Boat Party sell out most days at peak season.
- Morning departures are smoother — seas are calmer before noon. If you're prone to seasickness, go morning rather than afternoon.
- Bring cash on board — drinks are usually cash only unless stated otherwise.
- The harbour is a 5-minute walk from the town centre — no need to get a taxi to the port unless you're coming from a hotel outside the centre.
- Turtle sightings peak in June–August — if wildlife is your priority, this is the window to visit.
